Why there is no cookie banner
Because we have nothing to ask you about. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. The only things stored in your browser are the ones needed to remember your theme choice and to keep spam and bots off the site — and under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for does not require consent.
A banner that only ever says “we use essential storage” would be friction for its own sake. If we ever add anything that genuinely needs consent, a proper opt-in comes with it — off by default.
What is actually stored

Your browser also caches our pages, stylesheets, fonts and images in the ordinary way. That is standard HTTP caching, not tracking, and it involves no identifier.
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo, or any other analytics tool.
- No Meta Pixel, Google Ads or LinkedIn conversion tags, and no remarketing audiences.
- No social media share or like widgets that phone home.
- No session recording, heatmaps or A/B testing scripts.
- No device fingerprinting.
- No third-party webfonts. Inter and Space Grotesk are served from our own domain, so opening a page tells Google nothing.
Because we do not track anyone, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are effectively already honoured — there is nothing for them to switch off.
How to clear or block it
- Theme preference — clearing site data for contensu.com in your browser removes it. The site then follows your operating system’s dark or light setting again.
- Everything else — your browser’s privacy settings let you block or delete cookies per site. Blocking the security cookie may mean Cloudflare challenges you more often, and blocking the Turnstile check will prevent the contact form from submitting.
