Directus development, from a team that ships it
Directus turns your database into a proper admin panel and an API, without locking you into anyone. We build the system on top of it: the CRM, the portal, the internal tool your team actually opens every morning. You get a working system faster than building from scratch, and you keep it.
Sound familiar?
Quotes from agencies that include months of rebuilding the same basic foundations
Software you rent forever, with a licence bill that grows as your team does
A system nobody can maintain but the agency that built it
Your data locked inside a product you cannot export cleanly
A "custom" build that turns out to be a themed template
No idea what happens to your system if your agency disappears
What we build for you
We design the data model, build the interfaces your team needs, connect the tools you already use, and hand over something your own developer could pick up tomorrow.
A data model that fits your business
Collections and fields shaped around how you actually work, not bent to fit a product someone else designed. This is the part that decides whether the system still fits in three years.
An admin panel your team can use
Directus gives non-technical staff a clean interface over real data. We configure roles, permissions and layouts so each person sees what they need and nothing they do not.
Custom interfaces where the default is not enough
When a standard field will not do, we build the interface. We publish our extensions as open source, so you can see the quality before you hire us.
Integrations with what you already run
Accounting, email, payments, shipping, your existing database. Directus has a real API, so connecting things is engineering rather than negotiation with a vendor.
Automations that remove the busywork
Approval flows, scheduled jobs, notifications when something needs a human. The work that currently lives in someone’s head and a spreadsheet.
Hosting wherever you need it
Your own servers, your cloud account, or ours. EU data residency where that matters to you or your customers.
Directus development is the right fit if:
You need a real system, not a website with a contact form
Your team will use it daily, so the interface has to be genuinely usable
You want to own the software and the data outright
You would rather pay once to build than forever to rent
You want the option to hire someone else later without starting again
How a Directus project runs:
A call where we map what your team does today, including the parts that live in spreadsheets
We design the data model and show it to you before anyone writes code
A fixed-price proposal with a clear scope, so you know what you are buying
We build in stages you can see and use, not a six-month silence
Your team tries it while we are still building, and we adjust
Handover with documentation, access to everything, and a warranty period
Common questions about directus development
Why do you build on Directus instead of from scratch?
Because most of what every business system needs — users, permissions, an admin interface, an API, file handling, audit trails — is the same every time. Directus solves it well, and it is open source, so we are not asking you to pay us to rebuild solved problems. Your budget goes into the part that is actually specific to your business.
Does my team need to know what Directus is?
No. Your team sees an admin panel with your data in it, configured for the way they work. Directus is our answer to how we build it quickly and why you are not paying licence fees — it is not something they need to learn about.
What happens if we want to work with someone else later?
You can. Directus is open source with public documentation and a large developer community, and your data sits in a standard SQL database. Any competent developer can take over. We think that is the right way to earn repeat work — by being worth keeping, not by being hard to leave.
Can we host it ourselves?
Yes. On your own servers, in your own cloud account, or we can host it for you. If EU data residency matters to you or your customers, we set that up from the start rather than retrofitting it.
How long does a Directus project take?
Most take six to twelve weeks depending on how much has to be integrated and how complex the data model is. A focused internal tool can be quicker. We give you a timeline with the proposal, before you commit.
